Ruby
Ruby is a fire-aligned red dragon named by Yu IlHan after winning leadership of a group of dragons. Her fierce drive to grow makes her the first among Dragon’s Nest’s lower-existence dragons to advance into a true dragon during the final war.
Biography
Named leader of the dragons
After consuming Echjar’s meat and blood, Ruby defeats the other dragons competing for strength. Yu IlHan names her for her red color and appoints her leader of the group. She immediately leads the dragons on their first hunt and returns at the head of a successful formation. (Chapters 300, 304)
Ruby accepts Yu IlHan as her father and Yumir as her elder brother. Seeing Yumir’s sixth-class dragon form intensifies her desire for strength, and she later fights beside Yumir and First while Dragon’s Nest gathers and trains its dragon forces. (Chapters 305, 308)
First true-dragon advancement
During Dareu’s seventh Great Cataclysm, Ruby becomes the first lower-existence dragon to reach the threshold for advancement. The Cradle of Miracles transforms her into a true dragon, and her success raises the morale of the entire draconic army. Supported by Dareu, her immediate firepower surpasses that of most ordinary fifth-class beings. (Chapter 327)
Appearance and personality
Ruby’s original form is a red, fire-aligned dragon. After becoming a true dragon, she can emerge as a girl with red hair and crimson eyes. She is eager, competitive, and openly hungry for greater power, but channels that ambition into leading and strengthening the other dragons. (Chapters 300, 305, and 327)
Abilities and classes
Red-dragon fire
Ruby’s natural attribute is fire. As a red dragon she can express it through draconic attacks in flight, and the element becomes stronger within Yu IlHan’s domain because Dragon’s Nest and Daréu support dragons whose records align with its ruler. Her flame benefits from that environment rather than establishing control equal to Yu IlHan’s own fire mastery. The corpus does not name a unique breath technique or special red-dragon spell for her, so her demonstrated power is elemental output reinforced by race and domain. (Chapters 306 and 308)
Aerial pack leadership
After defeating the other young dragons in a contest of strength, Ruby leads them on hunts and returns with the group in formation. She can direct flying combatants toward shared prey, maintain their competitive drive, and convert her own eagerness for growth into an example the others follow. This leadership is earned through victory and repeated success; it does not compel dragons who surpass her or replace Yumir’s higher authority in the Dragon’s Army. (Chapters 300, 304–305, and 308)
True-dragon advancement
At the seventh Great Cataclysm, the Cradle of Miracles advances Ruby into a fifth-class true dragon. The transformation grants a higher-existence constitution and enough immediate firepower, under Daréu’s support, to exceed most ordinary fifth-class beings. It also gives her a human form with red hair and crimson eyes. The exceptional output is context-dependent: the Cradle enables the evolution, and the world’s blessing heightens her new power, so the scene does not establish the same advantage in every world or without Dragon’s Nest’s support. (Chapter 327)
