Fairy Knight's Sword
The Fairy Knight's Sword is a sealed weapon that can be used only by a fairy. Randalph Brigsiel purchases it and gives it to Yihi, whose first touch triggers a compulsory examination in another world. The seal is never explicitly released, but the sword later emits light that repels evil creatures while Yihi defends the Tree of Origin.
History
An auction purchase reserved for a fairy
Randalph acquires the sword among a group of auction purchases intended for different members of his force. Its system description identifies it as sealed, restricts its use to fairies, and withholds most effects until the seal is released. When he offers it to Yihi, she initially protests that she is unqualified because the Fairy King grants the weapon to only one fairy and had not done so for more than twenty thousand years. Randalph judges that her advancement to Origin Fairy is sufficient and transfers the sword to her. (Chapters 120 and 122)
The weapon is approximately thirty centimeters long—skewer-like to a human observer but substantial at fairy scale. As soon as Yihi grips it firmly, light forms a small door that pulls her into an examination room and cuts off Randalph's Fairy Blessing contact. Inside the resulting pink world, Yihi uses the sword against hostile mushrooms and learns of a local legend that its fairy wielder will save that world from the Pink Queen. The cited evidence does not record a system notice declaring the test completed or the seal released, so the journey demonstrates a selection process without establishing a formal transformation. (Chapters 122–123)
Light against the dungeon invaders
Yihi still carries the sword when Pandemonium's demons and creatures reach the upper floors of Randalph's Korean dungeon. She flies between a werewolf and the wounded Krasla, and light from the blade drives the evil creatures back far enough that they cannot approach easily. Yihi continues fighting with the sword despite fear and trembling hands. This is its latest recorded appearance: it remains intact and wielded by Yihi, but the narrative does not clarify whether its anti-evil light is a sealed function, a partial release, or an effect strengthened by her own development. (Chapter 141)
Abilities and properties
- Fairy-exclusive weapon: The sword can only be used by a fairy. Yihi's Origin Fairy advancement is treated as sufficient qualification, but the evidence does not define whether an ordinary fairy could survive or pass its test. (Chapters 120 and 122)
- Sealed effects: Most properties are explicitly unknown until the seal is released. No cited passage confirms a completed release, so abilities beyond those directly demonstrated remain unknown. (Chapters 120–123)
- Fairy Blessing enhancement: Wearing the sword strengthens Fairy Blessing. The system description gives no numerical increase or separate activation cost. (Chapter 120)
- Compulsory examination: A qualified grip opens a small door, forcibly transports the fairy to an examination room, and interrupts communication through Fairy Blessing. The sword does not explain the test in advance, and Randalph cannot immediately contact Yihi across the separation. (Chapter 122)
- Anti-evil light: In Yihi's later defensive battle, light from the sword chases away evil and prevents nearby creatures from approaching easily. The passage demonstrates repulsion rather than an automatic kill, and it does not specify range, duration, or which beings qualify as evil. (Chapter 141)
- Fairy-scaled blade: At thirty centimeters, it appears closer to a skewer by human standards but functions as a full-sized sword for Yihi. (Chapter 122)
