Bucket Boy

Bucket Boy is a young Crocodilian who moves from collecting coins at the Penis Parade to assisting the Princess Posse's clinic and vehicles. His nervous questions often identify real risks, and his willingness to perform unpleasant medical work makes him useful well beyond his original attendant role. (Chapters 244, 315, 389, 411)

Biography

The Eighth Floor and Bedlam

Bucket Boy first appears as a level-10 Crocodilian collecting coins for a Desperado Club dancer. When the performers prepare to separate and move vulnerable members, he is included among those worth paying to extract, giving him a route out of the club economy and into the coalition. (Chapters 244, 255)

Faction Wars at Larracos

Bucket Boy trains with the clinic and questions whether Removal Order can handle a powerful possession, showing caution rather than empty panic. During Louis's surgery he physically removes the heart and lungs because Mordecai cannot make the action without it counting as an attack. The grisly task is essential to the treatment and marks Bucket Boy's development into a hands-on medic. (Chapters 315, 366, 389)

The Parade of Horribles

On the eleventh floor, Bucket Boy learns to operate the spider vehicle but has to be stopped from pressing unknown controls. He remains part of the safe-space household and later occupies a new room shaped by its resident's tastes. His latest appearance confirms he survives and continues serving the group, even when he does not understand every system around him. (Chapters 411, 419, 486)

Appearance and personality

Bucket Boy is a skinny young Crocodilian with scales and a relatively low initial level. He is nervous, curious, and sometimes impulsive around unfamiliar controls, but he follows medical instructions under intense pressure. (Chapters 244, 315, 389, 411)

Skills, class, and abilities

Bucket Boy develops practical medical assistance, including organ removal during magical surgery, and learns to operate complex vehicles. His knowledge is incomplete: he asks others about possession rules and needs supervision at the controls. No named class, spell set, or later numeric level is established. (Chapters 315, 389, 411)

Relationships

  • Mordecai: Mordecai directs Bucket Boy through procedures whose rules prevent Mordecai from acting directly. (Chapters 315, 389)
  • Louis: Bucket Boy removes Louis's organs as part of the treatment that saves him. (Chapter 389)
  • The Desperado dancers: His original attendant role and later extraction tie his survival to the dancers' decision to protect their support staff. (Chapters 244, 255)

Items

Bucket Boy has no planned inventory-item links. The collection bucket from his original job and the spider vehicle he later drives are role equipment rather than documented personal artifacts. (Chapters 244, 411)
