Mountain-Beheading Blade

The Mountain-Beheading Blade, also written Mountain Beheading Blade or shortened to Beheading Blade, is a Grade Six offensive Origin Tool whose size and striking power scale with its wielder’s physical strength.

History

Auction purchase

Su Chen buys the blade during a large auction spending spree. Its attributes do not perfectly match what he had hoped to obtain, but its offensive quality and compatibility with his Primordial Blood Incarnation make it worth using. (Chapter 474)

Weapon of the Primordial Blood Incarnation

The blade first demonstrates its defining transformation against Shen Yuanhong. Su Chen’s hundred-foot Primordial Blood Incarnation grasps it, enlarging it to roughly thirty feet and driving its power toward the level of a Light Shaking attack. The weapon helps break Shen Yuanhong’s Lotus Platform and becomes a durable part of Su Chen’s mid-period arsenal. (Chapter 480)

Su Chen later uses it to cut through walls and concealed enemies, and its broad blade Qi lets him reap through a beast horde after the Flood Dragon Emperor Shuttle is destroyed. During a dangerous operation he briefly sends it to a white paper doll, with Patelocke assisting, to delay an opponent while Su Chen maintains another technique. These uses show that it can be directed or entrusted temporarily without changing ownership. (Chapters 565, 589, and 663)

Retention beside later weapons

After obtaining the Lightless Ring, Su Chen keeps the Mountain-Beheading Blade because the two weapons serve different systems. The ring amplifies Arcana Techniques, whereas the blade remains suited to direct weapon attacks and the physical force of the Primordial Blood Incarnation. The latest relevant evidence still treats it as retained; no sale, destruction, or permanent transfer is recorded. (Chapter 797)

Abilities and properties

• Variable size and power: The blade can grow or shrink at the wielder’s will. Enlarging it also increases its actual weight and force rather than changing appearance alone; in theory it can reach a thousand feet and cut a mountain peak. (Chapter 480)
• Physical requirement: Greater size becomes progressively heavier, so only a sufficiently powerful body can use the upper range. Su Chen relies on the Primordial Blood Incarnation to wield a thirty-foot version effectively. (Chapter 480)
• Large-scale offense: Its enlarged swings produce tyrannical pressure and extensive blade Qi, leaving scars in the ground and cutting through multiple beasts or structures. (Chapters 480, 565, and 589)
• System limitation: As a weapon-oriented tool, it does not substantially amplify the Flaming Phoenix Theurgy Art or other Arcana Techniques. This limitation motivates Su Chen’s parallel use of the Lightless Ring. (Chapter 797)
• Finite environmental effect: Its destructive force is not absolute; Su Chen judges that even a full strike would leave no mark on ground compacted over time by a Prehistoric Beast. (Chapter 815)
