Flood Dragon Emperor Shuttle

The Flood Dragon Emperor Shuttle, formally the Cloud Thunder Flood Dragon Emperor Shuttle and also called the Dragon Emperor Shuttle, is a combat-capable Cloud-Piercing Shuttle built from a Demonic Emperor. Its exceptional speed, defenses, and weapons are offset by a damaged control system that consumes enormous consciousness power.

History

Construction and centuries at Flying Moon Workshop

Seven hundred years before its introduction, the head of Flying Moon Workshop fought the Cloud Thunder Flood Dragon Emperor on Accumulated Thunder Mountain for three days and nights. The workshop combined the dead Demonic Emperor’s remains with forty-eight precious materials to construct the shuttle. It was later damaged in battle, reducing its quality and making control extraordinarily taxing; that defect left it unsold for centuries despite its otherwise high specifications. (Chapter 466)

Su Chen’s purchase

Su Chen, accompanied by Iron Cliff and Cloud Leopard, tests the shuttle at Flying Moon Workshop. Activating it nearly makes him dizzy despite his strong consciousness, but he recognizes that his capacity can grow. He negotiates with Cui Miaoling and buys the shuttle together with a large order of rare materials for 155 million Origin Stones. He then resumes heavy use of Spirit Sobering Medicine to improve his control. (Chapters 466–470 and 472)

Combat transport and destruction

The shuttle becomes both transport and battlefield platform. Its speed lets Su Chen close on or evade powerful opponents, its barrier absorbs attacks that would severely injure him, and its cannon contributes to the battle against Shen Yuanhong. Su Chen can also use the reinforced hull and momentum as a ramming weapon. (Chapters 476–480)

During the defense of Swallow River City, Su Chen coats the shuttle with Beast-Drawing Medicine and uses it to lure a beast horde away. Sustained attacks damage the hull and drain its final Origin Stones; after the barrier fails, Su Chen abandons it above the horde. The beasts tear it apart, and some are later found with fragments in their mouths. Su Chen treats it as replaceable and buys new shuttles afterward, while retaining the lesson to carry far more Origin Stones. (Chapters 586–589, 593, 603, and 628)

Abilities and properties

• Flight performance: Its stated defensive rating is 140 and its speed is twenty-eight paces. At speed, its motion can resemble teleportation, though sufficiently fast Demonic Lords can still catch it. (Chapters 466, 571, and 586)
• Thunder armament: Divine Thunder Cannons, also referred to in use as a Sky Lightning Cannon, provide ranged offense. A Thunder Barrier protects the shuttle and its occupants. (Chapters 466 and 480)
• Adjustable size: A Void-type Origin Formation can shrink the vehicle to palm size for storage and restore it for use. (Chapter 466)
• Powered defense: Origin Stones supply the barrier and other systems. The barrier can be replenished while under attack, but its intake rate is finite, piercing effects can bypass it, and depleted reserves leave the shuttle powerless. (Chapters 586 and 588)
• Damaged controls: Initial activation and sustained operation consume consciousness power. Even Su Chen can use it only for limited periods at first, so weaker operators may be unable to start it at all. (Chapters 466–467)
• Physical impact: The shuttle’s mass, speed, and protection allow Su Chen to ram an opponent, transferring momentum like a heavy spear. This is an improvised use rather than a separately named system. (Chapter 480)
