Su Qian is Su Keji's son and Su Chen's younger-generation rival within the Su Clan. He advances from the seventh layer of Body Tempering to Qi Drawing through heavy family investment and the Treasure Light Illusion Realm, learning the Illusory Demonic Killing Aura, but repeated defeats expose the gap between cultivated confidence and adaptable combat ability.

Biography

Challenging his blind cousin

Su Qian confronts the blinded Su Chen while at the seventh layer of Body Tempering. Confident that his cousin has declined, he attacks with the Su Clan's Flaming Tiger Fist and tries to exploit sound and movement against an opponent who cannot see. He escalates from a clan challenge to a potentially crippling strike at the spine, but Su Chen has studied his habits and uses the Snaking Mist Steps to evade and defeat him. (Chapters 9–11)

The loss becomes a grievance rather than a lesson. Su Qian continues to provoke Su Chen and treats the outcome as luck until a second confrontation ends in a deliberately brutal beating. Su Chen breaks his nose, knocks out teeth, tears an ear, swells his eyes shut, and injures his shoulder before taking the Scarlet Punishment imposed for the attack. (Chapters 45–47)

Fear, paternal pressure, and forced advancement

During Su Chen's absence, Su Qian reaches the ninth layer of Body Tempering. When Iron Cliff defeats and forces him to kneel, fear finally overrides his rivalry and he asks his father to stop opposing Su Chen. Su Keji responds by slapping him and treating withdrawal as disgrace, then spends heavily on medicines and further cultivation opportunities intended to keep his son competitive. Su Qian disappears for ten days into the Treasure Light Illusion Realm, an opportunity purchased with the Su Clan's claim on a rare favor. There he kills 308 demonic illusions, experiences death twenty-six times, strengthens his soul, accumulates killing aura, and reaches the Qi Drawing Realm. The experience makes him feel transformed, but the cost will fall entirely on Su Keji if Su Qian fails to enter the Hidden Dragon Institute. (Chapters 84–86)

Final clan defeat and examination

Su Keji also prepares Origin Energy Medicine and Black Anesthesia to place Su Chen at a disadvantage. Su Qian initially says he no longer needs the drug and asks whether using it is right, but his father presses him into the scheme. Su Chen has already discovered the plan and swaps the anesthetic into Su Qian's own medicine, leaving Su Qian confident in his new realm and skill but progressively slower during the clan competition. On the stage, Su Qian reveals the Illusory Demonic Killing Aura and attacks repeatedly while Su Chen evades with closed eyes. Once the anesthetic fully takes effect, Su Chen ends the fight with one palm, then knocks him from the stage after briefly steadying him. The ease of the loss crushes Su Qian's confidence and costs Su Keji his remaining clan shares. Appearance and personality
