After treatment, he returns to the expedition’s frontline, helping attack a purple-scaled Demonic Beast and later bracing the formation against a Ferocious Race charge. His willingness to intercept a short spear aimed at Su Chen nearly gets him skewered, showing that his defensive role involves accepting wounds for allies rather than merely enduring attacks directed at himself.
