Mendiano

Mendiano is a young Ravager warrior who explores the Goldwater Ruins with Danba and Ferraro. Less cunning than Danba but deeply committed to Ravager honor, he accepts a formal duel with He Yuandong and dies after forcing an incomplete Guardian Totem beyond what his body can sustain. Biography

Ruins expedition

Mendiano accompanies Danba and Ferraro during the human-Ravager contest over the Goldwater Ruins. He shares the group's excitement and expectation of martial honor but is not identified as a Temple Warrior or high-ranking commander. When the parties arrange a Takusha duel, Mendiano accepts He Yuandong as his opponent despite the likelihood of defeat, insisting that a Ravager may die but cannot be without honor and asking that the contest remain fair. (Chapters 305–309)

He attacks with a torrent of force, but He's cautious defense denies him a quick result and gradually exhausts him. Facing defeat, Mendiano activates an incomplete Guardian Totem even though a warrior at his level should not be able to do so. The desperate surge makes He retreat only a few steps before Mendiano collapses and dies. Danba buries his body in the next chapter and turns the grave area into a trap, while He takes Mendiano's ring. Later references recall the duel but do not restore Mendiano to life. Appearance and personality

Mendiano is a young Ravager, but the corpus does not provide stable details for his face, height, clothing, hair, markings, or build. No physical feature safely distinguishes him from the other warriors beyond his identity in the expedition. (Chapters 305–311)

He is courageous, straightforward, proud, and governed by a demanding conception of honor. He knowingly accepts a stronger opponent and asks for fairness rather than an easier match. His final decision is resolute but self-destructive: instead of conceding when He's defense exhausts him, he forces an incomplete power that cannot change the outcome and costs his life. Abilities and cultivation

Mendiano is a trained Ravager combatant, but the corpus does not state his formal warrior rank, cultivation equivalent, bloodline, weapon, or the names of his ordinary attacks. His opening offense is forceful enough to require He Yuandong's sustained attention, yet it cannot break He's cautious defense before Mendiano tires. (Chapters 309–310)

His final technique is an incomplete Guardian Totem. Activating it produces a torrent-like all-out surge and is explicitly beyond what someone of his level should be able to accomplish. The result is limited: He is driven back only a few steps, and Mendiano's body cannot survive the exertion.
