Defeat at the Lin residence

Lin Fengtang initially tries to distance his clan from the Wang Clan's attack on Su, but recognizes that participation has made neutrality meaningless. He accepts Su's wager pitting two hundred enhanced martial artists against a nominally stronger Lin force. When the Hemolytic Totem lets ordinary fighters use multiple Origin Skills and defeat his Qi Drawing cultivators, Lin understands both the battle's outcome and the larger significance of the research.
