Jiang Liu is a Heavenly Might Battalion soldier whose exceptional grasp of Su Chen’s Immaculate Cultivation Technique makes him the first deputy headmaster of the Boundless Institute.

Biography

Breakthrough and instruction

While stranded with the surviving human soldiers in Ravager territory, Jiang Liu follows an intuition to continue cycling the Immaculate Cultivation Technique after reaching saturation. He breaks into the Blood Boiling Realm without prior preparation, revealing that the technique improves breakthrough conditions, then advances again to the Yang Opening Realm within fifty days and becomes the first soldier to master a Soul Armament. After returning to human territory, Jiang Liu becomes the Boundless Institute’s principal instructor and first deputy headmaster because he understands the Immaculate Cultivation Technique better than anyone except its creator. He later serves as General Guan Tao’s deputy during the Boundless Sect’s campaign. (Chapters 738, 966)

Appearance and personality
