Cheng Tianhai is the Heavenly Might Battalion’s foremost combat general, a brawny battleaxe wielder whose courage and direct speech make him better suited to frontline command than administration. Escape from Ravager territory

Cheng Tianhai meets the prospect of the trapped battalion’s death with a toothy smile and the hope of one last good fight. After Su Chen’s efforts help save the army, Cheng treats the rescue as a personal debt: because Su Chen saved his life, he believes that life now belongs to Su Chen and promises not to shrink from danger. He subsequently joins the dangerous operation against the Ravager Ancestor’s bone scepter, where an eighteen-skull construct defeats the simple assumptions behind his physical power and forces him to rely on Chu Yingwan’s specialized countermeasure.
