Amelie

Amelie is the Goddess of Love worshipped by the Sun Astrals and one of the surviving Kun Territory gods. Although classed as a mid-tier goddess, she is the weakest surviving deity in direct combat. Her beauty, vanity, divine projections, and worship-linked kingdom shape her late conflict with Su Chen, who kills her while the Boundless Sect attacks her divine realm. Biography

Patron of the Sun Astrals

The Sun Astrals are described as Amelie's descendants and worshippers, with their culture and appearance shaped by her standards of beauty. When the disguised Su spreads a curse among them as Frost, Amelie descends through a statue or projected will and floods the area with golden light. She cures the immediate affliction but cannot identify a remote, concealed controller until a later descent finds and destroys the mouse carrying the curse. Each intervention costs divine power, and her willingness to continue falls as the worshippers' demands threaten that reserve. (Chapters 1117–1120)

Defense of the divine kingdom

Amelie later participates in the surviving gods' deliberations as a beautiful but comparatively vulnerable deity. When Sky City attacks her small divine kingdom, she must leave the wider battle to defend the realm on which her divine existence depends. Her holy soldiers return after death within that domain, but the human assault puts the kingdom itself at risk. Amelie fights directly with divine flame and lightning until Su's Beast Aspect and immortal energy overcome her. She dies before the kingdom is fully destroyed, leaving condensed divine power rather than a recoverable body. (Chapters 1137 and 1143–1144)

Appearance and personality

Amelie possesses extraordinary beauty and charm, a carefully maintained physical image, and long hair that participates in her divine presence. Her divine manifestations are surrounded by radiance, while the corpus emphasizes her allure more consistently than fixed details such as height, eye color, or clothing. She is vain, theatrical, capricious, and self-protective. Complaints about skin and an observation that multicolored blood is prettiest give her a puerile, prima-donna quality. Many gods are willing to die for her, and she is treated as their lover or mistress, but charm does not make her brave without qualification: she conserves divine power, abandons worshippers when repeated rescue becomes expensive, and only commits fully when her own kingdom is threatened. Amelie is a mid-tier goddess whose total divine scale remains enormous by mortal standards, yet she is described as the weakest of the surviving gods and below even low-tier gods in direct fighting ability. Her strength depends on worship, divine power, and a divine kingdom; she is not omniscient and cannot automatically locate an enemy acting through remote curse carriers. She can descend through a statue or limited manifestation, emit golden light that cures Frost's curse, and use divine perception to identify and destroy a nearby animal intermediary. These descents consume divine power, creating a practical limit on repeated intervention. The healing counters the presented curse but is not shown as universal restoration, and hidden distance can frustrate her search. (Chapters 1119–1120)

In direct combat, Amelie wields divine flames that attack both the physical body and consciousness, as well as a lightning sword. Her divine kingdom supports holy soldiers—each at least comparable to a Light Shaking cultivator—who resurrect inside the realm after being killed. That resurrection is a domain and institutional effect, not proof that Amelie can revive any being anywhere. Destruction of the worship-linked kingdom would make her fall, while Su's immortal energy and Beast Aspect are powerful enough to kill her before that dependency is fully exploited.
