Biography
Institutional service to Saul and Sky City
Shaquille led the Academy of Practice and, under Ophelia's direction, opened its body- and spirit-strengthening resources to Saul. His cooperation made the academy useful beyond ordinary teaching, while his later handling of Parin's crisis showed an administrator accustomed to containing scandals around dangerous wizards. When the stronger Saul returned seeking the Mechanical Heart, Shaquille again supplied knowledge and assistance. He was then compelled to organize Sky City's evacuation and did so efficiently despite the humiliation to his Third Rank dignity. (Chapters 783–790, 1010–1012)
Appearance and personality
Shaquille presents the formal bearing of a senior dean. He values institutional dignity, but practical responsibility overrides pride when Sky City's survival requires swift obedience.
