Service in the Maze Corridor
Frim assigned Lia to attend the imprisoned Saul, placing a young Tribunal wizard between institutional duty and a captive too powerful to treat casually. She delivered materials, relayed requests to Royer, and even offered herself when Saul needed magical power, an offer he declined. After Saul warned that association with him could ruin her standing, Lia nevertheless agreed to cooperate. She later accompanied Elo in the confrontation over Nephret and was struck down by Saul's star-shaped eyes, but was spared. (Chapters 874–910)
Appearance and personality
Lia is a young woman whose respectful bearing and controlled speech fit her subordinate Tribunal post. Beneath that caution, she shows unusual courage, empathy, and willingness to question the safest institutional choice.
