Biography

Judgment at Blue Water City

Jassim intercepted Saul and Gudo with the authority and black Soul Blades of a Tribunal Judgment wizard. At Blue Water City he killed Karon, then chose a final act beyond ordinary enforcement: constrained by the Tribunal and nearing the end of his usable life, he placed a fragment of his soul and knowledge into Saul before killing himself. That inheritance gave Saul access to Soul Blade principles and preserved truths that Jassim could no longer pursue openly. (Chapters 444–455)

Appearance and personality

Jassim's appearance is less important than his controlled, severe presence. He acts with institutional discipline but reserves enough independence to decide where his knowledge should survive after his own death.
