Biography
From servant hall to surviving apprentice
George is the only servant who shows Saul uncomplicated kindness after Saul awakens in the communal dormitory, staying beside him and helping during his first crisis. He later earns an apprentice place and gradually withdraws because Saul's aura and rapid rise frighten him, though he remains respectful. George survives the tower rebellion when many stronger students die and returns to Kaz with a human-face growth carrying his younger brother's voice. Kaz warns that the modification may mutate, then takes responsibility for retraining the surviving apprentices. (Chapters 6, 17, 40, 210–243, 436)
Appearance and personality
George is a young male former servant, later marked by a thumb-sized growth on the left side of his neck. Kind and loyal but understandably cautious, he avoids attaching himself too closely to Saul's dangerous path.
Abilities
He reaches First Rank Apprentice and performs body modification intended to grow a face through which his younger brother can speak.
