The unfinished Water God research

Crum came from Nephret and pursued knowledge of the Water God in Sky City, where Ophelia supplied biographies that supported his investigation. He died by drowning despite his Third Rank power, and the absence of his soul made the death more suspicious than an ordinary accident. The missing consciousness was eventually traced to the white porcelain cat connected with the case; Ophelia recovered and devoured it, turning Crum's research and death into part of her own search for hidden knowledge. Appearance and personality

Crum is chiefly encountered through the aftermath of his death, so his living appearance is not established. His surviving work presents him as an ambitious, secretive researcher willing to pursue dangerous religious and magical histories.
