Biography
The Black Castle ambush
Cadis approached the conflict around Black Castle as a Third-level Land Drifter apprentice eager to prove his usefulness. He concealed himself and joined the attempted ambush of Saul, but misjudged an opponent whose control of the Devil Vine and battlefield awareness exceeded the attackers' expectations. Saul killed him and then used the fresh corpse in the continuing confrontation, turning Cadis's bid for recognition into both a tactical failure and a warning to the remaining Land Drifters. Appearance and personality
Cadis receives little physical description. His defining traits are impatience, factional loyalty, and the confidence of an apprentice who wants a dangerous assignment to establish his standing.
