Biography
Territorial guard and concealed replacement
Aurel guarded the Stargate Council's port-city territory in a body rooted into the soil, and he attempted to prevent Saul from departing during the dispute surrounding Ophelia's forces. Years later, Saul found Aurel's corpse inside a tower and discovered that a red worm had consumed his soul completely. His death became decisive evidence that the parasites could replace or erase even powerful wizards while escaping ordinary notice, intensifying Saul's suspicion of the Council itself. Appearance and personality
Aurel has a humanlike body topped by a head of living grass and can root himself into the ground. His conduct is territorial, dutiful, and forceful, with little patience for unauthorized movement.
