Biography
Ambition and ritual death
Angela begins as one of Saul's talented but timid apprentice classmates, learning support magic while searching for faster advancement. Hunger for power and dark affinity leads her to the dead-man's-flower ritual taught by Lokai, and she murders victims to cultivate the required soul material. Billy offers an even larger slaughter partnership, but the scheme collapses amid competing souls and wizard factions. Angela dies early; fragments associated with her later contribute traits to a composite diary consciousness, but that later being is not simply Angela restored and should not inherit her biography as a continuous identity. Appearance and personality
Angela presents as a nervous young apprentice whose reserve hides mounting hunger and desperation. She hesitates before mass murder but has already normalized killing selected victims, showing how fear and ambition gradually override her earlier caution. (Chapters 19–20, 163–172, and 267–274)
Abilities
She learns Light Suppression, Wraith Detection, and the corpse-flower sacrifice used to increase magic and dark affinity. Later composite soul traits derived from her history do not prove that Angela herself survived. (Chapters 67–69, 163–172, and 345–346)
