Violetjewel is the damaged divine sword once wielded by World God Northrest and later inherited and used by Ji Ning.
History
Northrest's legacy
Violetjewel's golden-armored sword-spirit diverts Ning within Undermoon Lake and identifies the battered blade as World God Northrest's former weapon. The spirit arranges the encounter so that Northrest's legacy can pass to a suitable successor. (Chapter 653)
A matched set of six
The sword's severe damage testifies to Northrest's dangerous travels through distant territories. Ning later asks Daolord Badlands to obtain five additional Violetjewels from other holders, giving him a matched set of six for his multi-armed combat style. (Chapters 768 and 863)
The complete set gives Ning the striking power to contend with high-level World Gods and execute the same stance through all six arms at once. (Chapters 828 and 966)
