Brightmoon Diagram of the Mountains and Rivers
The Brightmoon Diagram of the Mountains and Rivers is the Xia Emperor's estate-world painting and the arena used for the Grand Xia's Conclave of Immortal Destiny.
History
The Conclave arena
The Xia Emperor admits 109,362 Conclave participants into the painting's world, where they compete under the rules announced from Skylight Palace. Within that realm, Ji Ning and Yu Wei survive months of repeated pursuit and battle before Ning emerges as one of the Conclave's most prominent figures. (Chapters 320, 329, and 339)
A controlled world and altered time
The diagram is more than a painted arena: the Xia Emperor can use it to change the rate of time experienced within. Doing so consumes enormous energy, and even he can only sustain the effect for cultivators at a comparatively weak level rather than for Celestial Immortals. (Chapter 688)
Abilities and properties
- It contains an estate-world large enough to hold and monitor the entire Conclave field. (Chapters 320 and 339)
- Its controller can admit and remove participants while observing events from outside. (Chapters 320 and 339)
- It can alter the flow of time inside, subject to a severe energy cost and limits based on the occupants' power. (Chapter 688)
Ownership and custody
| Holder or custodian | Relationship to the item |
