The actual Blacksun is identified as one of the mightiest Sithe weapons left behind after the Dawn War. It falls into Realmslord Windgrace's hands, and possession of it helps explain why even major military powers avoid provoking him. (Chapter 1253)
Realmverse-crossing speed
Windgrace uses the Blacksun to cross the great distance between the Hiddenfiend and Flamedragon Realmverses with extraordinary speed. Later comparisons treat its velocity as a benchmark for the best escape and transport treasures. (Chapters 1290 and 1411)
