World God Dragonbinder
World God Dragonbinder is a master-class World God of the Badlands Court who accompanies Ji Ning through Allgod Estate. He acts as an experienced guide and protector, then survives the Twin Samsara Heavens through costly defensive preparations.
Biography
Exploring Allgod Estate
Dragonbinder enters Allgod Estate with Ning and shares information about its treasuries, formations, and fatal inner regions. He attempts a fire-path treasury trial but lacks the required insight, then correctly appraises the fiery idol Ning acquires and its value to Su Youji. When Youji enters sudden enlightenment, Dragonbinder postpones his own Fog Sea expedition for years so she can complete the breakthrough safely. His choice strengthens mutual trust despite offering him no immediate treasure. (Chapters 826–832)
Twin Samsara Heavens
A hidden formation teleports Dragonbinder into Daolord Allgod's forced death trials. Paired against the Silkmaid Silkwater, he spends a life-saving Dao-seal to withstand thousands of golden warriors and repeated soul illusions. He wins because his temporary armor and two golems outlast Silkwater, while openly recognizing that a stronger Silkmaid could have survived until the seal expired. He later watches Ning overturn the trial's assumptions and remains concerned for his companions. (Chapters 837–849)
Return to the court
Dragonbinder eventually leaves Allgod Estate and seeks Ning immediately on returning to the Badlands Court. Both have gained from the expedition: Dragonbinder has developed a vague idea of his future path through Samsara, though he understands that converting that idea into a Daolord breakthrough remains extremely difficult. Appearance and personality
Dragonbinder is a pudgy man with skin faintly suffused red; even his smile can look frightening. In conduct he is generous, knowledgeable, and cautious. He respects private secrets, guards Youji without complaint, spends precious resources when survival demands it, and frankly identifies the limits of his victories. (Chapters 826–832 and 839–840)
Abilities and cultivation
Master-class World God
Dragonbinder is slightly stronger than the Starlord of Fogstone and can roam the outer Ten Thousand Mountains with little opposition. He is talented in both fire and water, but not deeply enough in fire to solve Allgod's treasury test. His latest progress is a tentative personal Samsara path rather than an achieved Daolord breakthrough. (Chapters 827, 831, and 862)
Heartforce resistance and close combat
His heartforce has reached the fourth stage, supplemented by a secret defensive art from his master. Silkwater's innate illusion still severs his awareness temporarily, proving that the defense is strong but incomplete. Once awake, Dragonbinder uses claw-like hands to pierce golden warriors at close range. (Chapters 839–840)
Golems and defensive Dao-seal
Two azure golems keep enemies away while a dried-leaf Dao-seal dissolves into golden leather armor around his body. The armor nearly nullifies attacks at a level comparable to a Samsara Daolord's defense, but its energy drains continuously. Dragonbinder wins before depletion; he explicitly notes that a longer fight would have killed him. (Chapter 840)
