Paragon of Pills

The Paragon of Pills is one of the alternate universe's three Primordial Starkings, beings alive since that universe's birth. A supreme alchemist and spacetime expert, she dedicates much of her existence to restoring three deceased elder “brothers” and later becomes a familial ally of Ji Ning.

Biography

Loss and the search for reversal

Long before meeting Ning, the Paragon rises to the apex of her universe through alchemy. Three elder “brothers” die after gaining eternity; the eldest, a greatsword-bearing Hegemon, is also her lover. She expends every price she can to reverse spacetime and revive them, but the universe's backlash nearly kills her; restoring Eternal Emperors proves vastly harder than restoring weaker beings. This failure drives her into a long disappearance and explains both her cold reserve and her exceptional knowledge of spacetime reversal. (Chapters 969–970 and 1348)

Encounter with Darknorth

When a treasure vanishes from Lord Onefoot's corpse in the Genesis Lands, the Paragon detects the disturbance through surrounding restrictions and takes Ning away for questioning. Ning's connection to the deceased Onefoot and his possession of the [Seven Leafpill Chapters] shift the encounter from suspicion toward cooperation. She receives Ning in the Trileaf Realm, allows his retainers to benefit from her alchemical legacy, and becomes someone whose favor even the universe's great powers seek. (Chapters 969–980)

Rescue and restored hope

Across later eras, the Paragon repeatedly risks her life in the Sithelands to gather the enormous payment an Autarch demands for restoring her brothers. When she becomes trapped, Ning rescues her and promises to ask the Autarchs for help. Autarch Skyfeeder agrees and reverses spacetime inside Lord Annihilation's otherverse, restoring all three brothers. The Paragon's overwhelming joy changes her entire presence and resolves the grief that shaped her for countless years. She subsequently participates among the great powers opposing the Sithe and remains alive through the final chapter. (Chapters 1333–1349 and 1450)

Appearance and personality

The Paragon is a slender, bewitchingly beautiful woman dressed in gauzy black clothing, with dazzling eyes and an aura of cold purity. Her presence makes the surrounding world seem to submit to her will. She is normally controlled and remote, but her vigil beside Onefoot's corpse exposes profound loyalty and grief; his restoration reveals an equally profound capacity for joy and gratitude. Abilities and cultivation

Dao of Alchemy

Her [Seven Leafpill Chapters] present alchemy as a complete path of cultivation rather than a collection of recipes. Even the opening chapters transform Pillsaint's understanding and provide a route from the World level into the Daolord stages. The legacy covers pill-forging principles deeply enough that practitioners improve by analyzing its methods and performing repeated refinements, not merely memorizing formulas. (Chapters 972–979 and 1027)

Spacetime reversal

The Paragon can inspect the past and attempt to reverse spacetime to restore the dead. The difficulty and backlash scale with the target: she states that someone below the Eternal Emperor level would be much easier to revive, while her attempt to restore an Eternal Emperor nearly destroys her. Her failure is therefore a demonstrated limit, not a lack of knowledge. (Chapter 970)

Hegemon authority and Sitheland expertise

As a Primordial Starking and later Hegemon, she can see through restrictions that conceal treasures from Daolords and can remove Ning from the Genesis Lands despite the Church's prohibition against forced teleportation there. Repeated Sitheland expeditions also develop high attainments in karma, formations, and spacetime, letting her recognize and patiently analyze traps. These skills do not make her invulnerable: an especially dangerous site still traps her until Ning arrives. (Chapters 969–970 and 1333–1343)

• Her three elder brothers: Their deaths, especially that of her eldest brother and lover, drive her near-fatal reversal attempt and repeated Sitheland expeditions; Autarch Skyfeeder eventually restores all three. (Chapters 969–970 and 1333–1349)
