Fukai

Fukai is an unawakened descendant of the Aeonian race sent to recover Emperor Melobo's Eternal blood from the Allgod Estate. His need to pass the Aeonian Kingdom's Awakening test drives him from rivalry with Arroyo into a temporary alliance against Ji Ning.

Biography

Expedition to the Castrum Divinitus

Fukai enters the Allgod Estate as a gold-robed youth leading ten World-level servants. Only two remain when he reaches the other major expedition groups, demonstrating the price he has already paid to cross the Fog Sea and approach the Castrum Divinitus. He and Arroyo treat one another as rivals because both are competing for the same reward and both believe failure will end in death. (Chapters 836–841)

The Castrum's death matches force Fukai to spend the lives and resources of his remaining followers. He pressures World God Buxin to kill Arroyo, reminding the servant that their shared lifeblood bond will kill Buxin if Fukai dies and threatening Buxin's school with his father's retaliation. He offers protection and a Pseudo Samsara Pill if Buxin succeeds, but withholds his own most valuable treasure when the rules state that a treasure used by a servant cannot be used again in Fukai's match. His choices expose the hierarchy behind his expedition: survival and Awakening matter more to him than a subordinate's life. (Chapters 841–845)

When the formation-spirit tells him that someone else has received the Eternal blood, Fukai assumes Arroyo is the winner. He rejects the Castrum's remaining blessing and demands immediate release so he can intercept his rival. After learning that Arroyo also left without the blood, he accepts that Ji Ning is the likely recipient. His original desire to kill Arroyo becomes a temporary alliance with him, since neither can defeat the new holder safely alone. (Chapters 846–849)

The Aeonian Awakening test

Fukai and Arroyo are outstanding but still unawakened Aeonian descendants. They can become true Aeonians by reaching the Samsara Daolord level on their own, or the Aeonian Kingdom can pay an enormous price to force their Awakening. The kingdom offers that intervention to whichever descendant returns Emperor Melobo's Eternal blood. Fukai has therefore not merely chosen a valuable treasure hunt: he has accepted a test whose stated consequence for failure is death. (Chapter 850)

He and Arroyo swear a lifeblood oath to cooperate until they seize the blood, then fight each other to determine who takes it home. They wait above the chaosworld for thousands of years, using godsense to watch for Ning's departure from the estate. Their shared danger suppresses but does not resolve their rivalry; each still expects only one survivor to receive the reward. (Chapters 849–854)

Battle with Ji Ning

When Ning emerges as a World God, Fukai first offers treasures worth tens of thousands of cubes of chaos nectar for the Eternal blood. Once Ning refuses, Fukai joins Arroyo's attack while continuing to deny any Aeonian connection. He releases a force of master-class World God bugbeasts to combine with Arroyo's Hellwind Golems, expecting their numbers to trap an opponent below the Samsara Daolord level. (Chapters 855–856)

Ning's speed and improved sword art invalidate that plan. Fukai's bugbeasts cannot catch him, and a defensive Dao-seal that should resist a Samsara Daolord-level blow loses twenty percent of its power to Ning's first strike. After Ning captures Arroyo and attacks again at full strength, one blow destroys the remaining barrier and wounds Fukai through his Dao armor. Realizing he cannot win and that Ning intends to capture the bugbeasts, Fukai orders them to kill one another. (Chapters 856–857)

That final act makes Ning abandon capture. Fukai's protective divine ability and Dao armor keep his body together for twelve more blows, but the attacks exhaust all his divine power. The thirteenth destroys his body and dissipates his truesoul. His admiration for the final sword-light is his last response; he is definitively dead rather than missing after the battle. (Chapter 857)

Appearance and personality

Fukai appears as a gold-robed youth. His expression often shifts between cold calculation, panic, and a berserk intensity as the possibility of failing the Awakening test becomes more immediate. (Chapters 836 and 846–857)

He is resourceful and cautious enough to preserve trump cards, propose a purchase before fighting, and ally with a hated rival when necessity demands it. Those strengths are consumed by desperation. He coerces Buxin, waits millennia to ambush Ning, and destroys his own bugbeasts rather than let an enemy inherit them. His final appreciation of Ning's sword-light provides a brief moment of clarity only after all further resistance has become impossible. (Chapters 844–857)

Abilities and cultivation

Fukai is a supreme World God and one of the strongest unawakened descendants selected by the Aeonian Kingdom. With his full collection of treasures he believes he can dominate anyone below the Samsara Daolord level, although the battle with Ning demonstrates that this assessment fails against a World God whose speed and power have already reached that higher threshold. (Chapters 844–857)

World God body and protection

Fukai possesses a protective divine ability and wears Dao armor. Together they let him survive repeated direct strikes after his stronger Dao-seal fails. The defense consumes divine power under sustained impact; twelve full-force sword blows exhaust him, and the thirteenth destroys both body and truesoul. The armor therefore mitigates damage rather than making him invulnerable. (Chapter 857)

Bugbeast horde

Fukai's father specializes in rearing bugbeasts for the Aeonian Kingdom and prepares a horde as his son's principal killer weapon. A jade-green globe deploys more than fifty bugbeasts, each with the raw power of a master-class World God, followed by three especially muscular golden-furred creatures. In numbers they can kill or drive off most supreme World Gods and can coordinate with Arroyo's golems to control a battlefield. (Chapter 856)

The horde's weakness is technique and speed. Its members possess powerful bodies but cannot catch Ning once he activates superior movement. They are living creatures and cannot simply be ordered to commit suicide, though Fukai can command them to attack one another because internecine consumption is part of conventional bugbeast rearing. His death severs their control and leaves surviving creatures available for capture. (Chapters 856–857)

Defensive Dao-seal

Fukai activates a rune-covered metallic plate with Immortal energy, producing a golden globe of light around himself. At full charge it is intended to withstand a full-strength attack from a Samsara Daolord, and Fukai can use an impact's momentum to accelerate his retreat. It is consumable protection: attacks drain its stored power rather than being negated without cost. Ning first removes roughly one fifth, then later shatters the remaining four fifths with one stronger blow. (Chapters 856–857)

Godsense and suppression

Fukai joins Arroyo and Boneplate in spreading godsense across the entire chaosworld while suppressing their own auras. This lets the group maintain a vigil for thousands of years and detect Ning's exit from millions of kilometers away. The watch does not reveal what happens inside the protected Allgod Estate and offers no answer to an opponent too fast to contain once found. (Chapters 849–855)

• Arroyo: Fukai's principal rival becomes his temporary ally under a lifeblood oath. They plan to seize the Eternal blood together and then fight to the death over it. (Chapters 836–857)
• Ji Ning: Fukai hunts Ning for the Eternal blood, first offering payment and then attacking with his horde. Ning defeats and kills him after Fukai orders the bugbeasts to destroy one another. (Chapters 848–857)
