Starflash

The Starflash is an Iliex destroyer assigned to Ogras Azh'Rezak. Built for scouting and combat rather than solitary travel, it gives Ogras a fast platform, a drone complement, and an independent command within the Atwood fleet. (Chapters 939–941)

History

First ship of the new fleet

The upgraded Creator project offers nine complementary vessel designs, and Ogras receives the first Starflash. Karunthel presents him with its control node and explains that the destroyer carries one hundred agile drones armed with energy cannons. The drones can also be modified after purchase, a possibility that immediately appeals to Ogras and Zac. (Chapters 939–940)

Exploration and war

The Starflash joins the first expeditions beyond Earth and helps support operations around Emerald Eye. Its scanners, drones, and speed make it useful for reconnaissance, but the vessel still needs a crew and lacks the independent intelligence of a Technocrat ship. It later remains part of the Atwood Empire's growing fleet and campaign logistics. (Chapters 941–946, 954, 964, 1081, 1122–1123, 1160–1185, and 1267)

• Drone complement: One hundred agile drones provide light firepower, reconnaissance, and room for custom modifications. (Chapter 940)
• Destroyer role: The ship balances speed, scouting, and direct combat within a broader fleet rather than serving as a heavy command vessel. (Chapters 939–941)
• Crew dependence: It can accept remote commands but is designed to be operated by a crew, limiting what one cultivator can do alone. (Chapter 942)
