Mind's Eye Agate
The Mind's Eye Agate is a massive soul-cultivation crystal recovered by Zac Atwood in the Twilight Chasm. Its calming aura and mental energy support both Zac's soul work and Verun's growth until their needs surpass what it can provide. (Chapters 742, 746, 800, and 1022)
History
Treasure of the chasm
The huge agate rests in Zac's hidden cultivation cave beside the crystal holding Verun's Bite. Its aura strengthens the axe's spirituality as Verun completes an evolution, after which Zac takes both treasures with him. (Chapters 742 and 746)
Soul-cultivation anchor
Zac installs the agate beside his prayer mat and uses it during prolonged meditation, recuperation, and dangerous breakthroughs. He later fastens it to his body with chains and supporting array disks when the pressure of an inheritance threatens his mind. (Chapters 800, 820, 830, 892–897, 943, and 1021–1022)
As Zac's soul advances, the crystal's energy becomes insufficient for the next layer of his cultivation. Its stabilizing function also matters less once he can enter a powerful meditative state on his own, leaving the agate intact but no longer his primary aid. (Chapters 1022 and 1101–1108)
