Fuxi Mountain Gate

The Fuxi Mountain Gate is an ancient bridge artifact carried by Zac Atwood. Built to connect the upper planes with the Void of Dao, it becomes both a powerful shelter and a foundation for his emerging faction. (Chapters 1291–1293, 1301, and 1312)

History

Recognition by the mountain

The ancient will speaking through Roan identifies Zac's prize as a Fuxi Mountain Gate and explains its purpose as a bridge able to endure the burden of the Terminus. The associated Earth Spirits initially seal it, demanding that Zac survive their challenge and uphold balance before receiving their recognition. (Chapters 1291–1292)

A mobile foundation

Once usable, the Gate protects Zac and his allies while opening paths that conventional spatial tools cannot provide. Its scale and connection to ancient earth make it valuable beyond immediate survival: Zac repeatedly treats it as an anchor around which people, defenses, and future territory can gather. (Chapters 1301–1313, 1350–1375, 1402–1409, and 1417–1432)
