Biography

Role in the wider conflict

Toss enters Zecia as a senior Monarch and quickly chooses mission control over factional politeness. He challenges Tavza's handling of Zac, petitions for Reaver leadership, and matches hostile pressure without starting an unauthorized fight. After Zac returns transformed, Toss interrogates him, threatens action if imperial interests are betrayed, but accepts a provisional explanation and orders medical tests rather than execution. He supervises Zac and Kator's duel, stops Kator when Warbones affect his mind, and then acknowledges Zac's Dao-sealing potential. At the same time, he refuses open intervention in the local war because escalation by outside powers would make Zecia's inhabitants pay the price. (Chapters 935, 950, 979, and 1075–1114)

Appearance and personality

Toss is a towering Draugr Monarch whose aura resembles a storm of blood and death. He is blunt, authoritarian, suspicious, and strategically disciplined. His willingness to apologize for Kator and recognize Zac's achievement shows fairness within hard limits, while his language about heroes and martyrs reflects a commander accustomed to sacrificing lives for institutional goals. Abilities and cultivation

Toss wields spatial movement precisely enough to enter through cracks, relocate Kator instantly, and intervene between elite fighters.
