Rava

Instructor Rava is an incomplete Eternal Servant who retains enough of a former identity to choose the name Rava and continue teaching within the Ensolus Ruins.

Biography

Role in the wider conflict

Rava introduces herself by name and explicitly keeps the title Instructor because that part of her former self remains. Faced with heirs and outsiders entering the Ensolus Ruins, she chooses instruction over empty ritual, offering training and opportunities while remaining bound to the camp's ancient purpose. Her lessons materially prepare Zac's companions, and Zac later honors that help when deciding not to force Xiphos into revealing a hidden attack. Reports carried beyond the ruins preserve her influence even among students, such as Vilari, who never met her directly. (Chapters 1202–1205, 1347, and 1375)

Appearance and personality

Rava's precise living appearance is not established. Her current form is an incomplete Eternal Servant with a retained personal identity, distinct from the faceless blood-drenched soldier constructs encountered later. She is formal, self-aware, and committed to instruction despite the loss and transformation that produced her current state. (Chapters 1202 and 1383)

Abilities and cultivation

Within the Ensolus Ruins, Rava carries residual Imperial Fate and authority sufficient to make even extremely powerful visitors cautious. She can teach high-level techniques and administer opportunities, but the exact division between her own power and the ruin's support is uncertain. (Chapters 1202–1205)
