Entry into the wider conflict

Leviala awakened Heaven’s Eyes, the first in her clan since its ancestor, and detected that the sealed realm’s door had reopened. After Lunar Tribe attackers killed her guards, she used a blocker implanted by her parents to disable restraints and connect to outside systems, choosing escape and cooperation with Zac while warning him about security protocols, Base Power, and the dangers of the Wasteland. (Chapters 565 and 592)

Her decision made her a traitor in Clan Cartava’s eyes. Wounded while trying to reach a rendezvous, Leviala nevertheless pleaded with Zac Atwood not to kill the clansmen sent to capture her. That appeal preserved her concern for her people even after their betrayal, but it also complicated the rescue and left her caught between family loyalty and the outsiders offering escape. Later responsibilities and consequences

Leviala attempted to reconcile with hostile constructs rather than destroy them, but the effort failed and forced her into a helpless retreat. Her disappearance destabilized Clan Cartava’s succession plans, which tried to bridge the two main branches through a false engagement; those arrangements were disrupted when a scouting party unexpectedly found her. When Emily later saw Leviala with an ominous group, she recognized her as the Mystic Realm traitor whose actions had nearly killed the expedition. The scene confirms Leviala’s survival but not whether her company reflected willing allegiance, coercion, or a temporary arrangement, leaving the consequences of her earlier choices unresolved. Abilities and cultivation

Heaven’s Eyes lets Leviala perceive distant arrivals and unfamiliar races, though she explicitly cannot see every answer asked of her. As a datamancer she can interface with Base Power systems, explain technological protocols, and use an implanted algorithm to deactivate restraints. Her combat ability and grade remain unstated.
