Julia entered the post-integration government as one of its few cultivators and the newly appointed liaison to unaffiliated cultivators. Rather than dominate discussion, she listened for an hour before asking about trainee levels, showing that her authority rested on gathering practical information. When Zac planned a dangerous breakthrough, Julia directly raised the political consequence others were avoiding: if his split existence failed, the Atwood Empire could lose both pillars at once and become prey to Kan’Tanu and local powers.
