Lux Spear

The Lux Spear, first known in sword form as the Lux Sword, is the Light-aligned counterpart to Raze's darker weapons and later Safa's signature armament. Its history joins combat, healing, and a one-time safeguard that restores Safa after a fatal strike.

History

Lux Sword and its safeguard

Raze initially handles the Lux Sword beside the Ghost Blade, using it as a channel for Light magic. The Blooded Woman later drops it for Safa, whose affinity makes the weapon a more natural match. When Sha Mo lands what should be a fatal blow, the safeguard stored in Lux restores Safa; the narrative explicitly treats that rescue as a one-use effect rather than unlimited resurrection. Safa's spear

In Safa's hands the weapon takes the spear form associated with her mature fighting style. It amplifies her Light attacks and lets her focus powerful healing in both Pagna and Alterian, remaining relevant even when hostile effects suppress normal magic. Safa keeps the spear through the final wars and carries it with her when she ascends to the Divine Realm. (Chapters 1235–1303, 1362–1363, 1509–1626, and 1772)

Abilities and properties

• Channels and amplifies Light magic, including offensive energy and healing. (Chapters 530–600, 1148, and 1235–1303)
• Changes between the sword identity established in earlier chapters and the spear form used by Safa; the corpus treats them as continuity of the Lux weapon. (Chapters 1171–1235)
• Once contained a life-saving effect that restored Safa after a fatal strike; that safeguard is spent. (Chapters 912 and 1148)
