Ghost Blade
The Ghost Blade is Raze's principal early sword in Pagna. It gives him a stable weapon through which to combine swordsmanship, Qi, and Dark Magic while his growing reputation as the Dark Magus is still tied to crafted weapons rather than open spellcasting.
History
Weapon of the emerging Dark Magus
Raze obtains the Ghost Blade during his early rise and repeatedly uses it for the Dark Edge Magic Sword Arts. Its importance comes less from a single hidden power than from its compatibility with his unusual combination of systems: it survives repeated use as a martial blade while carrying the Dark Magic and formations that distinguish his attacks from ordinary Pagna sword arts. (Chapters 195–210, 256–293, 336–344, and 441–478)
Improvement and later use
Raze improves the blade with rare material acquired through a portal expedition. The reforged weapon remains part of his arsenal through the academy, faction, and Alter conflicts, though elemental and higher-tier weapons sometimes replace it for a particular battle. The supplied corpus does not clearly narrate its destruction or a final transfer, so its exact condition after its last direct use is unresolved. (Chapters 500–601, 715–749, 883–942, and 1001–1179)
Abilities and properties
- Channels Raze's Dark Magic, Qi, formations, and Dark Edge sword techniques. (Chapters 205–210, 256–293, and 525–545)
- Can be improved with rare portal material, increasing its suitability for Raze's later attacks. (Chapters 595–601)
- The blade is distinct from the Dark Edge techniques used through it and does not independently grant those arts. (Chapters 256–293 and 883–885)
