Dark Magus Robe

The Dark Magus Robe is the basic cursed magic robe Raze creates while establishing his new identity in Pagna. Its concealment and storage solve the immediate problems of hiding his face, carrying power stones, and moving between ordinary society and portal expeditions.

History

A portable Dark Magus identity

Raze takes a black robe from a pawn shop and enchants it with a basic power stone. The result can hide beneath his normal clothes until summoned, reduce his visibility, and store objects in a separate space. These functions let him appear as the hooded Dark Magus without publicly connecting that identity to the young Raze Cromwell. (Chapters 33–37)

He continues keeping portal supplies and power stones inside the robe during his early work. As Sabrina's blazer returns to him and develops into a far stronger storage and defensive garment, the basic robe stops serving as his principal equipment. No chapter clearly establishes whether it is destroyed or merely set aside. (Chapters 176, 277, 408, and 784–801)

Abilities and properties

• Can remain concealed within the bound wearer's clothing and be summoned at will. (Chapter 34)
• Reduces the wearer's visibility, with greater effectiveness at night. (Chapter 34)
• Stores items smaller than the robe in a limited separate space. (Chapter 34)
• Must consume a basic power stone each week or take a random stored item; it destroys itself if neither payment is available. (Chapter 34)
