Dark Magic Ring

The Dark Magic Ring, introduced as the Cursed Dark Ring, is Raze's first important enchanted item after reincarnating in Pagna. It helps his weak new core sustain portal hunts by returning mana after Dark Magic kills and by measuring the growth of his Dark affinity.

History

First cursed enchantment in Pagna

Raze enchants an ordinary silver ring with a basic power stone and Dark Magic during his first independent portal expedition. The result immediately binds itself to him. Its mana return lets him kill successive beasts despite a small one-star reserve, while its affinity display gives him a measurable limit for how much darkness his current core can hold. (Chapters 14–15 and 37)

The ring remains tied to Raze through his early growth and is still referenced when he evaluates his Dark power. Later equipment and higher-star abilities supersede its narrative role, but the corpus does not clearly show the ring being removed, destroyed, or transferred. (Chapters 105 and 344)

Abilities and properties

• Restores a portion of mana when its wearer kills with Dark Magic. (Chapters 14–15 and 37)
• Displays accumulated Dark affinity and the capacity permitted by the wearer's current magic core. (Chapters 15 and 37)
• Is bound to one wearer and destroys itself if removed; destroying it costs the wearer part of their Dark-attribute power. (Chapter 14)
