Beatrix's Phasing Sword

Beatrix's Phasing Sword is a cursed blade crafted by Raze that lets its wielder pass through solid matter. Its mobility becomes essential to infiltration and survival, but repeated use accelerates the wielder's age and makes precise timing necessary.

History

Beatrix and the curse of age

Raze crafts the light-blue sword for Beatrix and gives it an effect suited to evasion and penetration. Beatrix uses it to phase her body through obstacles and attacks, discovering that repeated activations rapidly age her. The weapon therefore trades immediate escape from physical danger for cumulative bodily harm. (Chapters 1116, 1233, 1251–1252, and 1274)

B in the Alterian war

The later character called B carries the same sword into Alterian, using it to cross Noble Land's walls and evade redirected attacks during the final campaign. The corpus associates B closely with Beatrix and the Bloody Woman while also presenting contradictory identity explanations; the sword's custody is clear even where the wielder's exact identity continuity is not. (Chapters 1562–1584, 1705–1708, 1724, and 1753–1761)
