Skyler

Skyler is a talented young Wu Club Clan warrior whose attempt to leverage a challenge against the Dark Magus unexpectedly makes him a chef. Training under Zon turns noodle-making into practical Qi-control development and redirects Skyler toward protecting people.

Biography

From clan challenger to chef

Two years after graduating from the Dark Faction Academy, the bald Skyler visits the Perfect Noodle Shop hoping eventually to challenge the new faction leader and raise his clan's standing. His companions bully staff and customers; Skyler objects too late, joins the fight to avoid clan humiliation, and is effortlessly restrained by Zon. Rather than killing him, Zon recognizes that Skyler's body and Qi suit noodle production and conscripts him into the restaurant staff. (Chapters 820–825)

Training, defense, and rescue work

Skyler resents the chef's uniform but discovers that kneading and stretching dough with controlled Qi improves his martial precision. He uses that improvement to defend customers from Kelp's Alter group while obeying the rule against collateral damage, and his admiration for Zon replaces his earlier fixation on challenging Raze. When the academy is attacked, Zon orders him to gather help; Skyler recruits physicians, assistants, and Wanderers despite their fear, invokes the Dark Magus's name to give them courage, and leads roughly thirty helpers into the ruined academy to save survivors. He remains alive at his last appearance. (Chapters 826–884)

Appearance and personality

Skyler is bald and has wrinkled hands from his work. He begins proud, ambitious, and susceptible to clan pressure, though less cruel than the companions he fails to restrain. Restaurant discipline makes him more controlled and service-minded. He is blunt and hot-tempered, but his willingness to risk himself for injured students demonstrates real courage.

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Skyler is a skilled Pagna warrior, likely within the broad middle-stage range by opponents' assessments, though no exact stage is confirmed. He originally fights with a club, using forceful movement and Qi. Noodle training refines his control: motions learned while stretching dough translate into smooth parries, economical evasions, and controlled knockouts that avoid harming customers or destroying the shop. He remains vastly below Zon.
