Royo Kien is the Lethal Bite Clan’s vice head and second-in-command, deployed by Feebie to eliminate students connected to the White Dragon.

Biography

The academy assassination

Royo intercepts Liam and admits that killing a weaker initial-stage student violates the principles he associates with being a fighter, yet he obeys Feebie and ensures there are no witnesses. His Quick Bite Slash severs Liam’s arms and damages the area around his eye; assuming blood loss will finish the job, Royo prepares to leave rather than verify the death. (Chapters 395–397)

Defeat and clan consequences

Zon arrives before Royo can depart. Royo chooses to attack the unfamiliar opponent, but Zon’s red energy blade breaks his weapon and decapitates him in a single exchange. Royo’s death, followed by Feebie’s, removes both top leaders of the Lethal Bite Clan and contributes to the ensuing struggle over succession and influence. (Chapters 398, 480–525)

Appearance and personality

Royo is a middle-aged man with sharp eyes, stubble, short black hair tied in a ponytail, and a pointed straw hat. He appears relaxed and calls himself a fighter rather than a leader. His stated discomfort with killing the weak suggests a personal code, but his obedience to Feebie ultimately overrides it.

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Royo is a middle-stage Pagna warrior reputed to rival or exceed powerful clan figures. His Quick Bite Slash channels Qi from his toe through a rapid draw, producing a cutting strike capable of severing Liam’s arms before he can respond. The technique and Royo’s speed remain ineffective against Zon’s technology and energy weapon.

Relationships

Royo serves Feebie as vice head and carries out her order despite misgivings. His brief conflict with Liam nearly kills the student, while his decision to challenge Zon ends his life.
