Ujicha

Ujicha is the chief warrior of Samar's Garung Tribe. He plans to usurp his chieftain, sell the tribe's mine through Count Kobal's connections, and leave the rainforest for a wealthy life abroad. (Chapter 97)

Biography

Nahama, Samar, and Sienna's Legacy

Ujicha investigates the destruction of Garung warriors who had tried to capture an elf and pursues the unknown fighter responsible. He allies himself with Count Kobal's son, Dajarang, because satisfying the noble's demands will support Ujicha's plan to seize leadership and sell the tribe's ancestral mine. After a mysterious combatant kills Bron, Ujicha continues assisting Dajarang at the slave market and later ambushes Eugene's disguised party to steal their elves. Eugene knocks him unconscious, defeats his wind protection by commanding higher spirits, twists his limbs, and throws him deep into the forest. The selected evidence does not confirm whether Ujicha dies afterward. (Chapters 95–103)

Appearance and personality

Ujicha is a towering, heavily muscled man more than two meters tall, with a clean-shaven head, yellow teeth, and a body covered in scars and tattoos. He is observant enough to reconstruct a battle from its corpses, but also coldly ruthless, greedy, ambitious, and willing to violate tribal law or facilitate slavery for personal advancement. Vestiges of warrior pride remain, though he repeatedly abandons them when money or status is at stake. (Chapters 95, 97, and 102)

Abilities and powers

Ujicha uses a mana core, great physical strength, and the protection of primal wind spirits to move with surprising agility for his size. He also practices Garung battle sorcery, a form of necromancy that borrows strength from souls. His spirit protection has a decisive limitation: will-less primal spirits must yield to higher spirits, allowing Eugene's wind authority to suppress Ujicha's blessing completely. His durability is substantial, but Eugene still incapacitates him with overwhelming speed and magic. (Chapter 103)

Relationships

• Dajarang: Ujicha caters to Dajarang's exploitative desires in hopes that Count Kobal will finance his ambitions and grant him status outside Samar. (Chapters 95 and 97–103)
• Bron: Bron acts as Count Kobal's sworn knight and encourages Ujicha's bargain until he is killed during their pursuit. (Chapters 95 and 97–98)
• Eugene Lionheart: Ujicha unknowingly pursues and later ambushes Eugene, whose wind control nullifies his spirit protection and leaves him critically injured. (Chapters 102–103)
