Renfei

Renfei is a recurring character or sentient entity in Cradle. Cloud Hammer Skysworn who tracks and arrests Lindon, witnesses Blackflame danger, and responds at the duel.

Biography

Blackflame duty

Truegold Skysworn trained to confront any revival of Blackflame. The governing motive is to keep her oath and protect the Empire without abusing power. Acting on that priority, the character tracks Lindon for a week, arrests him rather than striking down a Lowgold, guards and evaluates the group, and helps manage recruitment and crisis response. The resulting choices connect the character to the phase's central relationships and pressures, including fear of Blackflame, Eithan's manipulation, Bai Rou's hostility, and sympathy for the recruits. Appearance and personality

Woman in green Skysworn armor, hair tied back, near Yerin's height. Honorable, procedural, alert, more measured and sympathetic than Bai Rou, but prepared to kill when duty requires.

Path of the Cloud Hammer

Cloud-based movement and force techniques supported by Skysworn armor and a dark hammer. Uses include flight, arrest, escort, and field response. Limits include no full technique mechanics supplied here. (Chapters 63; 66; 73; 76; 77; 78)
