Biography

Last gamble of the Jai patriarch

Dying Underlord whose clan is losing ground to the Arelius. The governing motive is to preserve his clan, destroy Eithan, obtain a successor, and extend his own relevance. Acting on that priority, the character reclaims the Ancestor's Spear, compels Jai Long, attacks Arelius workers, traps Eithan, fakes death through the Heartguard Chest, opens the labyrinth, and uses the Archstone. The resulting choices connect the character to the phase's central relationships and pressures, including eithan's superior perception and pure madra, imperial law, age, and failed succession. (Chapters 49, 57, 58, 59, 61, 64, 65, 67, 68, 69)

Appearance and personality

Old Underlord with long metal-strand white hair, white-and-blue robes, and failing body. Proud, vindictive, politically calculating, terrified of clan decline and death, willing to massacre subordinates and use forbidden weapons.

Light-and-sword madra supports Star Lance, Flowing Starlight, spear combat, and powerful Ruler control. Uses include commands elders, fights Eithan, and battles with Underlord force. Underlord soulfire

Lord-level soulfire reinforces body, weapons, and techniques. Uses include underlord combat and survival in hostile environments. Limits include cannot overcome accumulated age, Eithan's disruption, or Archstone drainage. (Chapters 59; 61; 64; 69)
