Keeper of Castle Hendsey

Uriah welcomes arena victors to Castle Hendsey and explains that victory alone does not grant access to its valuable scryer recordings. As examiner, he requires candidates to undergo an additional test, placing himself between the island's public spectacle and the deeper knowledge controlled by the Bagshaw clan. (Chapters 549–551)

After Linley earns standing within the estate, Uriah accompanies him toward its gates and facilitates practical contact with the island guards. His conduct remains procedural rather than hostile, helping Linley summon Tarosse, Dylin, and Dylin's children as the visiting group prepares its next move. (Chapters 552–554)
