Biography

The Necropolis, Deityhood, And Yulan Conflicts

Taylor is born into Dragonblood Castle and drinks dragon blood during the twins' childhood preparation, embracing the clan identity with exuberant faith that his father can surpass even Beirut. By adulthood he has reached the ninth rank. When the Soulseed-controlled Yale attacks, Taylor strikes back without understanding that a friend is being used as a weapon; after the truth about Odin emerges, his confusion hardens into anger, and he urges Linley to destroy the Vile King's followers. He remains at the castle across later separations, still young-looking after immense spans of time and openly weary of others pressing romantic expectations on him. (Chapters 303–332, 363–449, 520, 593, 597, 614, 622–629, 717, 735)

Appearance and personality

Taylor grows from an energetic boy into a handsome, youthful-looking man. He is proud of the Baruch name, impulsively protective when the household is attacked, and frank enough in later life to complain about unwanted attention to marriage and relationships. (Chapters 303–308, 326–332, 378, 622–629, 717, 735)

Abilities and cultivation

Taylor receives Dragonblood preparation as a child and is explicitly a ninth-rank warrior by young adulthood. The cited evidence does not confirm a later divine rank, even though he continues living in the divine-era Baruch household. (Chapters 303–308, 326–332, 378, 449, 520, 593, 597, 614)
