Shaq

Shaq is Fenlai's Second Prince and one of the royal survivors who escape the capital's initial destruction. His alliance-making is driven by survival and resources, and he abandons thoughts of vengeance when Linley Baruch kills Clayde. (Chapters 155–165)

Biography

The Sculpture, Revenge, And Fenlai'S Fall

Shaq escapes Fenlai's apocalypse with a royal party and forms a practical partnership with Prince Louis, valuing the other prince's people and supplies as much as personal trust. He reports Linley's approach to Clayde and later pleads for his father's release, but when Linley kills Clayde, Shaq chooses life over an impossible revenge. That choice cannot save him: the Special Executors activate a shrinking hexagram formation around the fleeing group, crushing Shaq and everyone trapped with him before a new royal future can be established. (Chapters 155–165)

Appearance and personality

The cited chapters give Shaq no distinctive physical portrait. He is tactical, self-preserving, and capable of filial pleading, but sufficiently realistic to understand that attacking Linley after Clayde's death would only add his own life to the loss. (Chapters 155–165)

Abilities and cultivation

Shaq belongs to an armed royal escape party, but the cited evidence does not establish his warrior rank or a named technique. Political lineage and command over followers matter more to his brief role than personal combat power. (Chapters 155–165)

Relationships

  • Clayde: Shaq is Clayde's son, reports Linley's arrival, and pleads for his father before accepting that revenge is impossible. (Chapters 155–165)
  • Prince Louis: Shaq allies with Louis during the escape, partly to combine followers and resources. (Chapters 155–164)
  • Linley Baruch: Shaq witnesses Linley kill Clayde and decides not to sacrifice himself in retaliation. (Chapters 162–165)
