Biography

Deception and humiliation

Sayant and his wife directed Linley toward deadly Abyssal Mountain while secretly sheltering Odin, expecting the journey to remove Odin's greatest enemy. Linley instead returned at Paragon strength and discovered the deception through divine sense. Sayant tried to intervene when Linley came for Odin, but one kick left him bloodied before his soldiers; he suppressed his rage, recognized that revenge meant death, and let Linley's party depart. (Chapters 632–634, 716–717)

Appearance

Sayant wears white robes and is shown reclining with a book before the confrontation disrupts his composure. (Chapter 716)

Personality

He is deceptive, status-conscious, proud, but sufficiently pragmatic to endure humiliation rather than die for appearances. (Chapters 632–634, 717)

Abilities and powers

Sayant is Northbone Prefecture's top expert and a Sovereign's Emissary, yet cannot resist Linley's Paragon-level speed and restraint. (Chapters 716–717)
