Odin

Odin is the Vile King who leaves Gebados, founds an empire in Yulan, and uses soul enslavement to destroy Yale's family. His surviving divine clone later retreats to the Netherworld, where Linley Baruch eventually delivers him to Yale for revenge. (Chapters 624–633, 715–717)

Biography

Return To Yulan And The Netherworld

One of Gebados's five kings, Odin enters Yulan and establishes the Odin Empire while Linley is absent. He plants a Soulseed in Yale, forcing him to ruin the Dawson Conglomerate and participate in the torment and murder of people he loves; Reynolds ultimately kills Yale's controlled body as an act of mercy. When Linley returns, he captures and humiliates Odin, but Odin preserves a divine clone by fleeing to the Netherworld, carrying the unfinished vengeance into another plane. (Chapters 624–633)

Linley later brings the restored spirits of Yale and George to Northbone Prefecture and finds Odin under Sayant's protection. Linley traps the Seven Star Specter so completely that he cannot resist, then gives Yale Sovereign's Might when ordinary Demigod strength cannot pierce Odin's defense. Yale repeatedly stabs Odin and finally destroys his head, personally ending the man responsible for his family's suffering. (Chapters 715–717)

Appearance and personality

Odin's initial confidence comes from a reputation for viciousness and soul control; when Linley corners him in the Netherworld, his face fills with terror before he turns to taunts and a final treacherous soul attack. His cruelty is deliberate, especially when he recalls Yale's dead family to deny him emotional closure. (Chapters 624–633, 715–717)

Abilities and cultivation

Odin is a Seven Star Specter and Highgod who trains in the Edicts of Death. He can implant Soulseeds, mount strong soul attacks, and maintain material defenses that a Demigod cannot penetrate, but Linley's enhanced Gravitational Prison suppresses him completely. (Chapters 624–633, 715–717)
