Biography

Alliance against Linley

O'Casey, the Cult of Shadows' senior judge, first meets Linley through Desri's proposed agreement that Saints stay out of mortal wars. Polished and sociable, he removes his black robe to reveal a banquet suit and treats negotiation as courtly business even while representing a religious power equal to the Church's senior commanders. (Chapters 300–301)

The Cult later joins the Radiant Church against Linley despite his warning that the choice will bring regret. O'Casey enters the coalition with Affleck and its Fallen Angels, but flees on his magical beast when the formation collapses, choosing survival over a doomed institutional stand. (Chapters 310–326)

Appearance

O'Casey wears a tailored gentleman's suit beneath an enveloping black robe. (Chapter 301)

Personality

He is urbane, diplomatic, knowledgeable about wine, politically flexible, and quick to retreat when the alliance fails. (Chapters 301–326)
