Choosing Wharton

Nina loved Wharton despite Emperor Johann's competing plans and the political advantages offered by Caylan or Blumer. She communicated her resolve through private meetings and public loyalty while Linley and Wharton challenged the pressure around her marriage. After the War God's intervention secured the match, Nina joined the Baruch household, raised her family at Dragonblood Castle, and participated in its councils until age ended her mortal life centuries later.
